About This Policy
Plattr (“we”, “our”, “us”), operated by Mano Tech Services, provides an online platform connecting customers, restaurants, and delivery partners. This Delivery & Shipping Policy explains how orders are delivered through our platform.
Delivery Areas
• Plattr currently operates within select serviceable areas in Tamil Nadu (expanding gradually).
• Customers must provide a valid and complete delivery address within serviceable zones.
• Orders placed outside our serviceable zones may be cancelled.
Delivery Timelines
• Delivery times vary depending on restaurant preparation time, distance, traffic, and weather conditions.
• An estimated delivery time is shown at checkout. Actual delivery time may differ.
• Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. Plattr will not be liable for such delays.
Delivery Process
Once a customer places an order:
1. The restaurant prepares the food.
2. A delivery partner is assigned.
3. The delivery partner collects the order and delivers it to the provided address.
Customers may track delivery status in real time through the app.
Delivery Charges
• A nominal delivery fee may apply and will be shown at checkout.
• Additional surge charges may apply during peak hours or special events.
Customer Responsibility
• Customers must ensure they are available to receive the order at the given address.
• If the customer is unavailable or provides an incorrect address, the order will be marked as delivered/undeliverable, and no refund will be issued.
Unsuccessful Deliveries
• If delivery cannot be completed due to reasons beyond Plattr’s control (e.g., customer unavailable, wrong address), the customer will still be charged.
• In exceptional cases, Plattr may attempt redelivery at its discretion.
Food Handling
• Delivery partners are instructed not to open or tamper with food packages.
• Responsibility for food safety and hygiene lies with the restaurant.
Delivery Partner Conduct
• Delivery partners are expected to follow road safety rules and handle orders responsibly.
• Any complaints regarding partner behavior should be reported to Plattr support.
